CPU Functions Lockup

SYMPTOM:  All CPU functions quit as if the radio was on Lock, but the lock button was not on. Radio would transmit and receive, but none of the buttons as described on page 91 of the manual under Panel Lock would work. VA3OD

SOLUTION: A number of fixes were tried including resetting the radio. The PK232MBX was the culprit. When the PK232 was disconnected, the radio sprang back to life. An older chip in the PK232 is suspect as it happened on Jan 01, 01 and may be chip related.
