RTTY Settings

Turn the RF power all the way up (use a dummy load!).
Turn the mic and any soundcard audio all the way down.
Turn the meter to alc and P.O. and/or watch PO on another outboard meter.
Set your mic gain about 10 o'clock where I assume your SSB sounds good.
Advance the modem (TNC, soundcard) audio output until the ALC is about half-scale and/or the power output plateaus. My PO maximizes at about the point the ALC hits about half scale. GL
