Dual Band Capability of FT1000MP

On my 1000MP, I can receive 10M on VFO 'A' and 15M on VFO 'B' at the same time, also 15M on 'A' and 20M on 'B' at the same time. It also appears the I can receive 17M on 'A' and 20M on 'B' at the same time; however I can NOT receive 75/80M on 'A' and 40M on 'B' at the same time. It seems to work only on the higher HF bands, 20-10M. Has anybody else noticed this?

No, I can NOT receive any combination of 20-10M on 'A' VFO and 160-30 on VFO 'B' at the same time. Comments/criticisms appreciated!! (In the cases listed above, it seems that the higher freq must be on 'A' VFO and the lower freq on 'B' VFO.) Greg, KQ3DX
