Tuner Problems on 40 Metres

Problem: I have a 40 meter dipole cut for CW. The MP tuner will not tune in at 7152. The SWR meter just goes all the way over to the right and doesn't seem to deal with it. Is there a way to deal with this?

Solutions/Suggestions: I find sometimes that, if the MP tuner will not tune the antenna by pushing the 'tune' button, key the rig manually with your keyer and the tuner then will do it's thing. Why, I don't know, but it is the only way I can get my dipole to tune in the CW portion of the band. Sometimes the rig has to be keyed for a second or two, other times it takes upwards of 10 seconds. Add a random length of coax. I know it sounds too simple but it works. You may have to try a couple of pieces.
